What a Disaster! Rabelo Is A Mess!

The adventure re-boots.  It’s Wednesday morning 2:15am, and the alarm clock just went off.  Our flight leaves in less than four hours, and the house isn’t ready for our departure.  Wilco has been working long days, and we haven’t heard from him in sometime.  We don’t know what condition Rabelo is in, but hopefully she will be ready for us.  Lisa and I have a bet as to when we will be able to leave the dock.

After a long flight with a connection in New York we landed in Brussels, Belgium at 6:40am Thursday morning a little bleary eyed, but excited.  We were going to see our big baby, and start a new season cruising the canals and rivers of Europe.  Wilco picked us up, and the hour and a half drive to Rabelo flew by with plenty of catching up to do.

Wow! What a surprise.  Here are just a couple of pictures so you can appreciate what we found upon our arrival.  Towards the end of this week I will send out another Blog to show the progress we’ve made. Oh yes, there’s one last thing.  I hated when Lisa wins a bet.

“The small guest bedroom ready for our guests.”

“The large guest bedroom ready for our first visitors.”

“The galley. It looks like we will be eating out.”
