Caves, Cheese and Adventure on the High Seas

I forgot to tell you about a particularly exciting event that took place while we were on the Regent Seven Seas Explorer. Apparently a young woman became quite ill, and they had to evacuate her to a hospital. We were in bed and heard a loud noise coming from outside our cabin. Goodbye Stockholm – Hello Family!

The final stop on our Baltic cruise was Stockholm. Along with the museum that housed the amazing ship Vassa, there were plenty of other things to see. One of the fun activities we tried was a visit to an ice bar. Everything was made of ice. The chairs were ice, the walls were ice, and even the glasses were made of ice. As you can imagine getting a cold drink was not a problem.

The Regent Seven Seas – Our Journey To The Northern European Ports

We boarded the Regent Seven Seas Explorer in Copenhagen, Denmark. Without question it was the most beautiful ship I’ve ever been on. Lisa especially appreciated the huge walk-in closet in our room. Our itinerary included Lithuanian, Latvia, St. Petersburg Russia, Helsinki Finland, Estonia, and ended in Stockholm Sweden.

All Aboard in Copenhagen!

It takes a lot of hard work to maintain our cruising lifestyle. It’s not easy consuming vast quantities of wine and cheese or baguettes and pate. Frankly I’m amazed we’ve lasted this long. Lately we’ve been working so hard we decided to take a vacation from our vacation, and book a cruise.
